Queen's Own Arc Rifles

I thought I'd make a company of British arc rifles for In Her Majesty's Name. I got a box of Warlord plastic Zulu Wars British and have stuck some pins in them with wire and stuff. Not sure if I like them, but I don't have a lot of green stuff ability, so I need to keep it simple. I thought if I continued the theme of having stuff and wire all over the place, I might get away with it.

Brothers and Sisters of St. Vitus

Just been getting into In Her Majesty's Name, the Steampunk Skirmish rules from Osprey. I don't really have a lot of Victorian-looking stuff so have been making up a few company lists based on what minis I do have.

Here is the Brothers and Sisters of St. Vitus. Their chief weapon is Fire of God (which is based on the stats for a Carbine, but doesn't require a physical weapon), and Hand of God (Martial Artist). Two chief weapons, Fire of God, Hand of God, and the Abbot's Eye of God (which is simply a renamed Eye of Odin)...

Drawbridge

I made a pair of Dutch-style counterweight drawbridges to go with my stilt slum. I put a couple of pennies inside the counterweight bit, and it works quite well. The balance is pretty spot on, and such that you might expect your average 28mm figure to be able to raise and lower it.

Watch House

I've re-painted my Watch House and modified it a bit. It turns out that to make scenery more interesting, you can add bits to it. I'll bear that in mind in future. For contrast, and to show how lazy I am, there's a couple of pics of the first version of the Watch House.

Customs House

So I finally finished my Customs House. Wasn't really sure what this was supposed to be until I put the seafront dungeon in, for confiscated goods, and the gibbets for smugglers and tax evaders: firm but fair, as we're all in it together.
