Christmas Tournament



I made a tournament type game for the club's Christmas session. The games were based on my homebrew rules and we had an array of events to evenly spread the usefulness of the fight, shoot and move skills.

There was archery, and horse archery, a who can stay in the bear pit the longest competition, a joust, a horse race around the table and to finish off, an every knight for himself skirmish. It seemed to go pretty well.

I'm far too chivalrous to win a tournament of my own rules, and so I was happy enough with my mid-table finish. Even so, I'm still a bit upset about falling at the last fence of the horse race.

Dragon Rampant: Goblins


So the long-awaited Dragon Rampant has finally arrived, just in time for xmas. Here's a Goblin list. I decided to make a spellcaster the centrepiece of my warband in order try out the new spell list. The standard warband size is supposed to be 24 points, but with all the fantasy-style power ups available, Lion Rampant size warbands will probably cost a bit more than that. But I had so much I wanted to try out that I ended up with 42 points.
